Position: National Information Officer / Associate Public Information Officer
Office: Department of Global Communications
Location: UN Information Centre, Kathmandu (UNIC Kathmandu)
Educational Requirement: Advanced Degree (MA / PhD) in communications, journalism, public information, or related field
Work Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years, in strategic communications, crisis communications and developing and disseminating multimedia communication campaigns, developing and maintaining communications with media and other organizations (governmental, NGOs, international, business groups, civil society), experience both on traditional media and digital media, experience of public speaking, experience in journalism, experience within UN or comparable organisation
Language Requirement: Though English and French are desirable languages in the UN system, this particular position requires Nepali as requirement after English.
